A Family Resource Navigator helps families identify challenges, locate community resources, understand available programs, and connect with trusted organizations. Instead of spending hours searching online or making endless phone calls, families receive personalized guidance and support throughout the process.

At DR6 Legacy, family resource navigation means walking alongside you β€” not just pointing you in a direction, but helping you understand options, complete applications when appropriate, and make connections that actually open doors.

Important Notice: DR6 Legacy does not guarantee benefits, eligibility, or approvals for any programs. We provide education, application assistance, referrals, and resource navigation to help families access the support they need.

Real Life Stories & Solutions

Here are real women and mothers sharing their courageous journeys β€” lived with strength, and told to inspire you.

“

I'm a mom who works part time and I have two little kids. Last year, there were so many demands on me I hardly ever took any time for myself. I was exhausted, and I didn't feel as good about myself as I used to. My best friend encouraged me to make some time for myself every day. I started by taking a short walk several days a week and trying to go to bed 15 minutes earlier. After I got in the habit, I started using drive time to think about all the good things I do every day. These small steps have really helped. I still work hard, but I have more energy and feel better. Now I encourage my friends to do it too!

“

I'm from a big family and I grew up always comparing myself with everyone else. I was constantly disappointed β€” whenever I got a raise, one of my sisters would too. But eventually I started thinking about my own life and realized I was achieving everything I wanted. It didn't matter what everyone else was doing: I was leading my own life and was happy about it. Now I try not to compare myself with others, and I remind myself to feel happy for my siblings when something good happens to them.

“

Finding DR6 Legacy was a turning point for our family. My 14-year-old daughter was pulling away and struggling with high school stress. Coach Raven gave her a safe, non-judgmental space to open up, build self-confidence, and learn healthy communication. Now my daughter talks to me again with trust and maturity. I am so grateful!

“

My son struggled with focus, motivation, and managing his emotions at school. The check-in sessions helped him set daily goals and take pride in his progress. As a busy working mom, having Coach Raven encourage him outside of home gave our family the extra layer of support we needed.
